This database contains more than 3,000 sites, properties, and districts listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register (VLR) and/or on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Beginning in 1965, the VLR and NRHP include places of historic, architectural, archaeological, and cultural significance across Virginia.
Documents associated with archaeological sites or archaeological districts may be partially redacted or unavailable for public access in order to protect the site or district’s location and/or other sensitive information.
