Longs Chapel Interior:
The single-room interior of the chapel as it appeared when listed in the state register in
2006 shows the imprint of the former pews that were taken from the chapel
long before
the advent of preservation efforts. The interior consists of
tongue-and-groove floorboards and circular sawn wall and ceiling boards, all
bound to the frame with cut nails. The ceiling had been painted blue
and showed traces of an earlier blue coat. The doors and windows are
not the originals.
